Caroline Miller OBE (1971–2024)

The Royal Ballet joins in the sorrow of its sister company, Birmingham Royal Ballet, at the news of the untimely death of its Chief Executive, Caroline Miller.  

Royal Ballet Director Kevin O’Hare says, ‘Caroline was a tireless advocate for dance during her influential arts leadership career. Her standing in the dance community was justly amplified by her Critics’ Circle Outstanding Achievement Award and OBE Honour. Besides her considerable accomplishments, we remember Caroline’s warmth and ready laugh and her galvanising enthusiasm for the arts.’

Koen Kessels, Royal Ballet Music Director and former BRB Music Director, adds, ‘We are shocked and deeply saddened by this news and will always be in debt to Caroline for the passion and skill she brought to BRB.’
