Today the Chancellor announced an extension to tax relief measures for theatres, doubling it until April 2023.

This hugely welcome announcement will give a vital and much-needed boost to the UK's creative industries as we continue on our path to recovery and welcome audiences back to our theatres.

These measures add to the significant support we received last year from Arts Council England and DCMS through the Culture Recovery Fund's repayable finance package, which helped us address some of the immediate financial damage caused by this crisis, easing our route to re-opening and paving the way for artists to once more return to our stages.
