Audience and press reviews of Donizetti's comic opera, directed by Laurent Pelly.
Really enjoyed #ROHregiment tonight, some moments had me in stitches (I never expected to see a tank on stage at the Royal Opera House) and beautiful singing. "Ah mes amis" of course a highlight - incredible!

Amazing opening to #ROHregiment at the Royal Opera House, audience rapturous and treated to a @tenorjcamarena encore. Absolutely showstopping; the cherry on the top of a great production, which doesn't seem to be ageing

#ROHRegiment is just glorious fun. Sabine is about the most perfect Marie you could wish to have, in every way. What a delight.

@RoyalOperaHouse #camerena First night of 'La fille du regiment' at ROH tonight and Javier Camerena does it again; encore of 'A mes ami'. Wonderful to see him live after seeing his performance in the same role at the Met live on screen at Cineworld.
