Amanda Baldwin studied at the Royal College of Music with Margaret Cable, and won the Giulia Grisi Prize and the Cobbett and Hurlestone Prize for contemporary performance. She is a former member of the Welsh National Opera Chorus and has performed internationally as a soloist in opera and in concert. Roles include Second Squire (Parsifal), Dryad (Ariadne auf Naxos), Mercédès (Carmen), Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Third Bird (The Sacrifice), Fourth Page (Lohengrin), Laura (Iolanta), Second Solo Voice (Moses und Aron), Flora Bervoix (La traviata) and Lolo (The Merry Widow) for WNO, including broadcasts for S4C. She is a member of the Royal Opera Chorus and has sung Bridesmaid (Lohengrin), Ensemble/Guest (Death in Venice), and has understudied various roles for the Company, including Grimgerde (Die Walküre).
