Biography

Born in New York, he participated in the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program at the Metropolitan Opera. Roles for The Royal Opera have included Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Alfredo (La traviata), Ruggero (La rondine), Rodolfo (La bohème), Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress), Tamino (The Magic Flute) and Ferrando (Così fan tutte). Other engagements include Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Edgardo, Rodolfo (La bohème), Carlo (I masnadieri), Admète (Alceste), Alfredo and Roberto Devereux for Bayerische Staatsoper, Rodolfo (Luisa Miller) for Glyndebourne Festival, Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra) for the Salzburg Festival, Rodolfo (La bohème) and Roméo (Roméo et Juliette) for the Metropolitan Opera, the title role in Faust and Don José for Deutsche Oper Berlin, Lensky (Eugene Onegin) and Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore) for Lyric Opera of Chicago, Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) in concert in Baden-Baden and Verdi’s Requiem across venues worldwide.
