Chris Ekers

Chris began his career with Autograph Sound Recording in London, specializing in theatre sound for musicals. As a freelancer, he became involved in contemporary classical music and dance, working with many leading composers and ensembles. His collaboration with composer Max Richter started in 2004. Since then he has been instrumental in realizing most of Max’s chamber, orchestral, theatre and site specific repertoire in the live performance arena. MADDADDAM is the third ballet by Wayne McGregor Chris has engineered and designed systems for, along with Infra and Woolf Works for The Royal Ballet. Most recently he worked on the American Ballet Theatre production of Woolf Works at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.
