American soprano Corinne Winters’ highlights include the title roles in Káťa Kabanová (Salzburg Festival, Seattle Opera, Rome Opera, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Janáček Brno International Festival, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Opéra de Lyon); Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride (Aix-en-Provence Festival); Rusalka (Vienna State Opera, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège); Halka (Teatro Real, Madrid, Theater an der Wien); Madama Butterfly (Rome Opera, Oper Frankfurt) and Jenůfa (Grand Théâtre de Genève). She made her debut with The Royal Opera in the 2016/17 Season as Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), later returning for Violetta (La traviata). Engagements for 2024/25 include soprano soloist in Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass with Jakub Hrůša and the Czech Philharmonic for the BBC Proms and the Dvořák Prague Festival; her role debut as the title role in Manon Lescaut with Washington Concert Opera; an appearance at the Smetana Litomyšl Festival in a gala concert of Slavic opera scenes; Mimì (La bohème) at the Metropolitan Opera, her Bayerische Staatsoper debut in a new production of Káťa Kabanová; her Greek National Opera debut in Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride; and a return to Rome Opera for the title role in a new production of Suor Angelica.
