David Finn

David Finn's professional career began at age 16, working for puppeteer Burr Tillstrom. His  Royal Ballet credits include: Swan Lake, Sweet Violets (Knight of Illumination Award), Symphonic Dances and Frankenstein. Other ballet works include Peter Wright’s Nutcracker (Birmingham Royal Ballet), Anna Karenina (Joffrey Ballet) and Romeo et Juliette (Paris Opera Ballet). He has collaborated with James Kudelka, Jose Limon, Cathy Marston, Liam Scarlett, Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Yuri Possokhov, and Sasha Waltz and was resident lighting designer for Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project. Opera work includes productions for The Metropolitan Opera, La Scala Milan, Salzburg Festival, Paris Opera, Royal Opera, among others. He has worked for Cirque du Soleil on Michael Jackson One, Zed, and R.U.N. Other highlights include Brokeback Mountain (Soho Place), Antony & Cleopatra (Metropolitan Opera), The Ring Cycle (La Scala) and Summer & Smoke (ABT).
