Biography

Italian dancer Ginevra Zambon joined the Royal Ballet’s Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme from the start of the 2019/2020 Season and was promoted to Artist in 2020. 

Zambon was born in Padova, Italy and began her ballet studies at the age of five at Vivere il Balletto school. She joined The Royal Ballet School in 2014 and while a student at White Lodge she won the 2015 Valerie Adams Award for Exceptional Talent in Musicality and Dance Quality. She also won the 2018 Ballet Association Award. After joining the Upper School she represented the school in Japan in 2017 and danced with The Royal Ballet in the 2018 tour to Madrid. She was also awarded the 2019 London Ballet Circle Dame Ninette award for the Most Outstanding Female Graduate of The Royal Ballet School. 

Zambon’s professional engagements while a student include Liam Scarlett’s Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, The Firebird and Symphony in C

With the Company, her roles include Anemoi.
