His selected opera lighting designs include Carmen (Metropolitan Opera); Rigoletto (Welsh National Opera); American Lulu (Bregenz Festival/The Opera Group), The Firework Maker’s Daughter (The Royal Opera/The Opera Group); Jakob Lenz (English National Opera); The Cunning Little Vixen (Janáček Theatre, Brno); and Iphigénie en Tauride, Don Giovanni, King Priam, Paul Bunyan, Albert Herring, Il tabarro, Gianni Schicchi, Eugene Onegin and Promised End (English Touring Opera). He has designed widely for dance companies, including for The Royal Ballet, Skånes Dansteater, Sydney Dance Company, Maqamat, Aterbaletto, Mark Bruce Company, Akram Khan Company, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, and Arthur Pita (Metamorphosis in the Linbury Studio Theatre). He has also designed several works for Gandini Juggling including 4x4 in the Linbury Studio Theare. Selected theatre lighting includes Sea Wall/A Life (Broadway); The Grapes of Wrath, Julie, The Deep Blue Sea, Here We Go and Strange Interlude (National Theatre); Portia Coughlan and A Delicate Balance (Almeida); Wings and A Doll’s House (Young Vic); In Basildon and One For Sorrow (Royal Court); Roots and Be Near Me (Donmar Warehouse); The Wife of Willesden (Kiln); The Father and Othello (West End); and All My Sons (Regent’s Park). Recent musical theatre credits include Oliver and My Fair Lady (Leeds Playhouse).
