Heather Baxter

Heather Baxter is Administrative Director of The Royal Ballet. In 2002 she joined the Royal Opera House as Financial Controller of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, becoming Financial Controller of The Royal Ballet in 2004 and General Manager in 2012 and Administrative Director in 2017. 

Baxter studied at the University of Leicester. On graduation she joined the City of London Sinfonia as Orchestra Librarian and went on to become Orchestra Manager in 1986 and Administrator in 1990. From 1995 to 1998 she undertook freelance concert and tour management for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, among others. Baxter then qualified as an accountant and was Management Accountant for Odeon Cinemas before joining the Royal Opera House.
