For The Royal Opera her lighting designs include Boris Godunov, Il trittico, Gloriana, Anna Nicole, The Gambler, Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and L’heure espagnole/Gianni Schicchi. She has also worked at Glyndebourne Festival, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, La Scala, Milan, La Fenice, Venice, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Dutch National Opera, Hamburg State Opera, Frankfurt Opera, Royal Danish Opera, Zurich Opera, Opera Australia, Canadian Opera Company and La Monnaie, Brussels, and for the Bregenz, Aix-en-Provence, Glimmerglass and Santa Fe festivals. Her awards include the American Theatre Wing Award, two Obies, the Eddy Award, a Tony nomination and seven Drama Desk nominations. In London, she has designed for the Young Vic, Old Vic, Royal Court, National Theatre and RSC. Recent engagements include Jerusalem at The Apollo. Her American theatre work includes designs for Broadway and multiple regional theatres.
