Coloratura soprano Olga Pudova trained at the St Petersburg Conservatoire and subsequently joined the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers before joining the ensemble. Her awards include first prize at the Elena Obraztzova and Nadezhda Obukhova Competitions. Roles include Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute) for Paris Opera, Dallas Opera and Semperoper Dresden, Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos) for Bayerische Staatsoper, Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) for Théâtre de Genève, and Olympia and Lucia di Lammermoor for Bayerische Staatsoper). Festival performances include the Aix-en-Provence, Edinburgh International and Budapest Spring Festivals. As a Mariinsky ensemble member, her 2024/25 season engagements include the title roles of Lakmé and The Snow Maiden, Violetta (La traviata), Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos) and Konstanze.
