Pavel Černoch’s engagements have included performances for Teatro alla Scala, the Vienna State Opera, Paris Opéra, Dutch National Opera, the Royal Ballet and Opera, and at major festivals including Salzburg and Glyndebourne. In the 2024-25 season, Černoch’s roles include Sergey in a new production of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Gran Teatre del Liceu), Boris in a new production of Káťa Kabanová (Bayerische Staatsoper), a role he will also perform with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, conducted by Andris Nelsons. On the concert stage, Černoch will perform Janáček’s Our Father with the Prague Philharmonic Choir and Janáček’s Glagolitic Mass with the Czech Philharmonic. Highlights of last Season included his The Prince Rusalka (Wiener Staatsoper and in a new production at Staatsoper Berlin); his company debut as Laca in Jenůfa (Lyric Opera of Chicago), Albert Gregor in The Makropoulos Affair (Opéra national de Paris) and Sergey in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Hamburg State Opera).
