Artistic Scheduling Manager and Character Artist

Biography

Born in Barnsley, Philip Mosley trained at the Rosalyn Wicks School and The Royal Ballet School. He joined the Company in 1986, promoted to First Artist, 1993, became Artistic Co-ordinator, 2001, Artistic Administrator, 2007, and Artistic Scheduling Manager, 2014. He continues to dance as a Character Artist. His recent repertory includes Widow Simone, Sancho Panza, Friar Laurence, Step-Sister (Cinderella), Richard Baxter Townshend and Hew David Steuart-Powell, Tutor (Swan Lake), Gallison, Dr Coppélius, Duchess (Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland) and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle. He created the role of Butler/Executioner in Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
