Biography

Irish soprano Sarah Brady performs internationally on the opera stage, the concert platform and in recital. Her 2024/25 opera debuts include Woglinde in Das Rheingold at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Queen Tye in Echnaton at the Komische Oper Berlin and Merab in Handel’s Saul at Glyndebourne, while in concert she makes a return performance with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic in Brahms’ Requiem. Recent opera highlights include Micaëla in Constanza Macras’ new production of Carmen at Theater Basel, Musetta in La bohème and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at Irish National Opera and the Governess in The Turn of the Screw at Staatsoper Hannover. In concert, she has recently appeared with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic for Bruckner’s Mass in F Minor and Frank Martin’s Golgotha. She makes her Royal Opera debut in the 2024/25 Season as Sandman in Hansel and Gretel.
