We’re thrilled to invite our community of Friends to this special event giving you the chance to peek behind the curtain and get closer to the music and dance you love.

You must be a member of RBO to order tickets. Max 4 tickets per Friend. The afternoon session is a repeat of the morning programme.

Access

Friends Open Day take place throughout the whole of the Royal Opera House, which is a large building with many stairs, escalators and lifts. The flooring in the building varies – some floors are smooth and tiled, and some are carpeted. There is step-free access to the building from the Bow Street entrance and from here, you’ll find the escalators and lifts that take you throughout the building. 

Step-free access is the Bow Street entrance.

The lift on the left-hand side of the Main Stage auditorium provides access to the café, Linbury Theatre, Paul Hamlyn Hall, Balcony Restaurant and Crush Room.

The lift on the right-hand side of the Main Stage auditorium provides access to the café, Level 5 Bar, the Piazza Restaurant and Terrace Bar and the Crush Room.
