We have several lifts, as well as a set of escalators and a ramp that take you to various parts of the building including our accessible toilets. Unfortunately, we do not have Changing Places facilities.

Respect, openness and the highest standards are at the heart of what we do. We celebrate diversity and believe that every individual contributes something valuable to the community. We encourage everyone to share, learn and engage with one another, fostering a space where creativity and thought can flourish.

Everyone is welcome at the Royal Ballet and Opera. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or aggressive behaviour and will address any violations per our terms and conditions of sale. SECURITY

To help keep the Royal Opera House safe and welcoming for everyone, all bags are checked on arrival. Please have yours open and ready for our security team. We kindly ask that you bring only what you need and avoid large bags or luggage, as these cannot be taken inside our auditoriums.

Bag checks are in place to identify items that could pose a risk or breach our policies. If something cannot be brought inside, it may need to be stored securely in the cloakroom until the end of your visit. In some cases, entry may be refused. Illegal items will be confiscated and reported to the police.

If you would prefer not to take part in a bag check, we regret that we won't be able to admit you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Photography and Filming

Photography and filming are prohibited during performances in any of our auditoriums. You are welcome to take pictures throughout the rest of the building and before performances and share them with us through social media.
